I made a mistake in my newsletter. We ARE employed by NTM, and we DO receive a paycheck from the mission. That’s why your gifts are tax-deductible.
It should read:
“We, as members of New Tribes Mission, look to God to meet our ministry and personal financial needs through His people. We are sent and supported by churches and individuals in the States who see us as their delegates to Brazil—their very own hands and feet in another place.
At this time, we are trusting God to:
1. help us get our paperwork (passports and visas) done
2. connect us with individuals and churches who want to partner with us through prayer and financial (tax deductible) support to plant churches and disciple indigenous people in Brazil.
