Prayers and Praises

Thank God with us for:

• a safe trip here, and no trouble getting our stuff here either
• an apartment in Manaus that is in an excellent location and is even furnished
• friends and coworkers that have taken us under their wing and helped us SO much in our first weeks here
• Cali is handling all the change beautifully

Pray with us for:

• a good routine that meets the families needs while getting each of us the language learning time that is so important
• continued adjustment for the kids especially, but also for Jevon and I
• deepening relationships with Brazilians and new relationships
• a good start in language sessions this next week
• for our minds to learn and apply language quickly
• spiritual sustenance
• for us to handle our own stress better so that we can help the kids work through their stress and not be difficult for each other to live with. 🙂  All of the change and helpless feelings get the best of us if we’re not resting in God.
