Jim is working day and night to get Hebrews, Luke and John ready for the final consultant check. It would take far too long to explain what that is about and if you are curious just ask and we will write to you personally and explain. Needless to say that it is a necessary and required part of the translation process and has been a long time coming.
Checking this amount of Scripture will take a lot of work and will be asking much from our Dom Christian brothers who will be involved with it but it will mean that over ninety percent of the Dom New Testament will be ready for final printing. Please pray that we will have all three of the New Testament books ready on time for the coming check. This will leave Revelation and Philemon to finish. They are translated, Revelation just needs the checks done on it.
We have a Printing Fund at Sanford if you are interested in giving towards the printing of the Dom New Testament. So far we have $15,000 about ½ of what we will need. Our plans are to take the manuscript home with us in May 2014 and have it printed so that when we return in 2015, it will already have been shipped to Papua New Guinea.
