Teacher’s Training Workshop in Dom

March 9, 2018 by James and Judy Burdett

Our little church community hosted a Bible teacher’s workshop this past week. Those in attendance (about 30 as students, 3 as teachers and 4 cooks) came from 6 different language groups so Tok Pisin, the common language, was the medium of communication. The Chronological Teaching Method was the topic and the goal was to learn how to effectively share the Gospel accordingly. Our front yard was the cooking and eating area. We had 4 pastors from other denominations so that was great and to hear them say, “We have never heard this stuff.  Thank you for allowing us to also come.” What a privilege for us to be a part of it. Please pray for these new teachers that they would take to heart all that  they learned and put it into practice.

We got our church building finished in time.
