2013 SPRING SEMEMSTER IN FULL SWING We’re back in action after Christmas break. Opening Morning was a sweet time of worship spiritual challenge, focus and vision. Jim plays in several of the campus worship bands…and totally loves it.
Summer’s over for us and we’re into the Fall Semester here at New Tribe Mission’s Training Center. We traveled to many of our churches and friends, including a stop in Ironwood Michigan. Well, it’s mid-March and classes are in full swing! The semester is chugging along and so are we. It’s such a privilege to serve here at NTM’s Missionary Training Center and we enjoy getting to know our new students. They’re here from all around the world, themselves following the Great Commission.
As the KODIAK took off down the runway, the eyes of veteran missionaries became misty, for they were seeing first hand the answer to years of prayers.
Rocking the float with a steady beat, Jim played praise music with the band as we headed down the crowded streets lined with parade watchers. Some of them had staked out their territory with lawn chairs the night before,and to my amazement the chairs were there the next morning!
How awesome to be part of a weekend where families get together to study God's word, play together and even rough it in cabins without air conditioning!
8 long weeks after a volleyball game he'll NEVER forget, Jim loses his crutches and replaces them with an air cast.
She's a cruiser, and she's a cruisin" half-way around the world! When you fly that far, you're starting to head back home.
For many of these students, it's the end of one chapter of their lives and the beginning of another huge unknown landscape of walking by faith before our great God.
The King holds court...in his casltle....although he'd much rather be out "in the field"!!!
