Some big news everyone- I’m getting ready to change ministries. I’m staying with Ethnos360 but will be doing so in the USA.
I’ve been asked to take on the role as bookkeeper for the Ethnos Retirement Homes in Sanford, FL. It is one of those ministries that is essential but not necessarily ‘glamorous’ as far as missions go. However, it is the sort of ministry that the Lord tends to lead me to, and has done so for decades.
In the meantime, I’m wrapping up and packing up and getting ready to leave Papua New Guinea. It has been a wonderful, wonderful few decades since I first came ‘temporarily’ in 1999, so I do so with a bit of both sadness and excitement combined.
The current plan is to leave PNG in mid-May, and move to Sanford in mid-June.
So, there’s a whole lot to pray for:
-Praise the Lord for this new opportunity
-Pray as I wrap things up here, and hand off all my roles here
-Pray for a safe trip back to the USA
-Pray as I set up a house in Sanford, and for all the things I’ll need for that
-Pray as I get up to speed in my new role.
And as always, a big thank you for your prayers and gifts.
