Well the day here was a normal day for most people in our country. We had class and everything in our city was as you would normally expect it to be.

We took advantage of the opportunity to get together with the Americans in our mission (there is not many of us) and have a feast. So after class we prepared food, hopped into a taxi and headed over to our field leaders house. Although the meal didn’t have all the same foods my family would make, it was still a wonderful time. One of the special treats was being able to send the boys out to play, because they live in a house with a FENCED YARD! They boys had so much fun running around and exploring. We adults enjoyed talking and only listening for a cry of help.

We headed home at 7 to get the kids to bed as we all had school the next day. After the kids were in bed I skyped with all of my family on the same day, also a special treat. We have so much to be thankful for!

So glad to hear you had a good Thanksgiving. It looks like the boys really enjoyed themselves.
Isn’t Skype wonderful? We got to do it with our granddaugher Janelle who is Pennsylvania on Thanksgiving also.
I’m glad you got to celebrate Thanksgiving and that you all had a good time and that you got to talk to your family! What a blessing. Oh, and Ethan is a very promising photographer.
