- Airport runs in the morning, afternoon, evening and middle of the night
- Coffee flowing like water
- 5 10 liters of water purchased a day because our filters can’t keep up
- Devotionals with multiple translations happening in the back ground
- 48 visitors from over 10 different countries
- Planning for this and then planning for that
- Meals…plus snacks because meetings can’t happen without snacks
- A freezer full of meat and a refrigerator full of veggies
- Kids running everywhere mixing languages together to communicate in any way they can
- Dishes that Never End!
- Hearing a story from this end of the world and another from that
- Writing down French to help people get around town
- Working together as a team to see the task accomplished
- Crashing at night and waking up in the morning with a mind flying through the details of the next day
Just a little bit of what preparing for conference means for us. We are in the week before conference where all (100+ of us) have gathered early to maximize the time they have together for meetings and additional training outside of our regular conference. I am thankful that next week we head to a facility where all the logistics of food and childcare are handled by others. After this week we will all be ready for it!
