Christmas Boxes

December 18, 2015 by Joel and Andi

This year was a special year at our church.  The leadership of our church decided to do an outreach in the community around our church building.  The elders of the church went around to each house and introduced themselves and invited their kids and the families to a celebration of Christmas.  Last Wednesday we had that celebration and I was blown away by the organization of the event.  The families who came showed great appreciation for the event and we had an amazing opportunity to share the Christmas story with these precious kids.

We had over 50 kids come from our neighborhood

We start with learning some new songs

We made them open them at home. Fifty boxes opened there would have been chaos!

So, what was in the boxes, or did I miss something? Or, is that the hook to keep us expectant? I’m still a kid at heart and want to know, what is in those boxes?!

Have a great Christmas. We will miss you.

Merry Christmas to all your family. I always SO much appreciate your blog and all the work that you do. Praise God, you honor him with your service and then graciously allow us to witness it. Please give my Christmas greetings to Cecil, to Abe and to Paul. They are on my prayer list and I enjoy bringing them before the Lord.

    Happy New Year to all.
