The fruit of life well lived
Monday we went to give condolences to a lady from our church who had lost her father. She shared about her father, who was one of the first believers among their people group and definitely the first in their village. She shared about his life. After believing he was initially rejected by the people of the village but he kept sharing about the truth. Because of him, his life and his testimony, many have come to believe not only in his village but in many surrounding villages. She shared about how her father taught them God’s word as children and how he encouraged them to pray. He was a living breathing example of someone following God with his whole heart.
As I sat there and listened to this testimony, I was so encouraged. Sometimes I need to be reminded of how God can use one man to make such a difference. Despite being the lone believer, he just kept sharing and demonstrating God’s truth. What a legacy of hope he leaves behind. May we all be faithful to the task God has for us despite the challenges ahead.
May we keep pressing on, trusting God for the rest
Encouraging testimony and one many of us pray we leave. Prayers for you and your family for health, your work, family and encouragement from fellow believers.
So encouraging. Thank you Andi.
Totally agree. That is such a helpful word. Thank you for sharing that with us.
So helpful Andi! Thank you! A life lived to please our Savior is the goal and He gets the glory for the result.
