Is there any other way?

August 22, 2011 by Joel Potter

That was the question that Tim Whatley, the speaker at our Fall semester orientation posed to the group of 160 or so young students of the word. Considering all that it takes, all the sacrifice, hardship, sickness, and effort that it takes to reach the farthest people with the light of God’s glory, is there any other way? Is going in person, subjecting your life and often times, your family’s well-being, the only way?

Jesus embodied this way, He came to us, this earth, the least reached planet from God’s glory, and lived among humans, embodying the truths of the life giving Gospel. There was no other way unless it existed in the infinite mind of God and so far, that very God has shown us no other way by which man can be saved, than by His Son. And proclaiming Christ is best done in person.
