Homeschooling

October 24, 2012 by Joel Potter

JackWe’ve recently realized that Jack has dealt with the transition from Michigan to Florida in a much more pronounced way than our other two kids.

While we initially enrolled him in the small private school that New Tribes Mission provides for missionaries serving at our home office, it’s become apparent that he’s needing much more concerted attention from us as his parents and in consultation with some trusted friends and counselors, we’re going to home-school Jack for the rest of his second grade year. We’re both trembling from the massive unknown that this brings and incredibly excited to have this intensive time with our first born son! How we need your prayers as we take on the roles of Jack’s primary educators! Bethany especially will bear the major part of this and will do so while also “mommy’ing” little two and a half year old Kate. Please pray for us! And will you rejoice with us in how God provided for the unique and unexpected expenses of home-school curriculum? We received all that we need for what we believe is just the right material for Jack
