What do you do in Spokane for fun? Run a 4-mile-mostly-uphill race in 95 degree weather, of course! We call that the Cherry Pickers Trot and Pit Spit (and yes, that’s the actual name of the event).
Well, let’s say that’s what some people do for fun. Like John. Not me. I stood on the sideline and ate vanilla ice cream. John got talked into it by one of his besties Michael (the same Michael that inspired Elias’ middle name). Michael ended up beating John by several minutes, but considering that John only trained for a week (and is only days from turning 30 🙂 ), that’s not bad at all. Go John!
