Last night, Judah kept waking up after we put him to bed. So we threw out our “kids-should-sleep-in-their-own-beds” philosophy for the night, squeezed his little head between our pillows, and enjoyed a night of cuddling and having a toddler in various, random sleeping positions take up most of our space.
As I was lying there, listening to Judah breathe and feeling his well-loved stuffed lion against my face, I was amazed at how my little, helpless, totally dependent newborn baby boy has turned so quickly into a 2-year old, animated, growingly independent, unique boy. Where did the time go?
