Fun Foto Friday #65

August 21, 2015 by John and Asmara Anyan

Dear Diary,

Just another day in Oklahoma. Since we’ve come here, we have not had any proper bath, although we play in the dirt and eat messy things all the time. I guess Mami and Daddy are too lazy to fill up our “bathtub” (= plastic bin) with warm water, so all they do is make us go swimming in our little pool outside and then spray us with the cold water hose. It’s kind of fun and Oklahoma is hot, so I’m not complaining.

We’re learning all kinds of strange things. Yesterday, Daddy came home with a bunch of wet clothes. Then he hung rope aaaaaaaaaaaaaall over our room (I helped him!) and we had to shake out all the clothes and hang them on the rope. Strange. Elias just put ridiculous amounts of clothespins on all his shirts and then crawled around underneath the rope tent.

I also learned that there are big bugs here called scorpions. They look freaky. Daddy killed one in the bathroom and Mr.Nate caught one in his house. My friend wants to blow it up with a firecracker. Cool.

Today, our friend Ms. Sara did face painting with us kids and I got to be Batman! Elias and I had to put on our superhero shirts and practice our cool superhero moves. I wanted to save the day, so I helped Daddy get our stroller and blanket out of the rain today. To the rescue!

I still hope we stay in Oklahoma soooooooooooo long.

Love,

Judah
