2007 began with our annual Field conference in Southern Luzon. For our children, conference is one of the highlights of the year. But for mothers of young children, it can be a very difficult time. Last year, Heidi was asked to oversee the nursery program during the conference sessions so that mothers could attend meetings. Her goal is to make those mothers of young children happy, so she puts a lot of work into getting a program together that will make for happy children. There seems to be some connection between happy children and happy mothers; we’re still trying to figure it out. We do know that singing chickens help. Whatever it is, we are thankful that we could show love to the 18 little ones God has blessed our co-workers with.
