Getting our Noses Back to the Grind Stone

February 12, 2017 by Jonathan and Heidi Bamford

It’s February and for Isnag farmers, that means using my grinder to get their machetes ready for field work. After church this morning the men kept the grinder going for more than an hour.

For us, getting back to the grind means getting back into Bible translation. Thank you for praying for our consultant, JJ’s, trip. He arrived on schedule from Italy. Last week we were able to work through 15 chapters of Genesis. We are thankful for our great language helpers. This coming week, we are planning to check the whole book of Acts.
Please pray that we will have a good translation check which will catch things that need to be worked on result in a clear and accurate translation.

God bless,
Jonathan & Heidi
