It is really difficult to be here! There are just too many distractions. For example, I’m trying to get translation done and these huge colorful butterflies keep landing on the flowers outside my window. It’s horrible.
We have a lot to be thankful for. God has answered our prayers for baby Owen. He has fully recovered from his intestinal surgery. He and his mother and grandfather we able to fly back to the village this past week. Thank you for your prayers for them.
We have another prayer request to send your way. Carmen, a missionary serving on the island of Mindanao, was in a motorcycle accident while on a vacation and has sustained very serious head injuries. The helicopter was able to transport her to a hospital in Manila. She has a long healing process ahead of her and would appreciate your prayers.
In spite of all the butterflies, we were able to make a lot of progress on translating the book of Romans last week. The rough draft is almost complete.
