It has been another busy week of harvesting for our neighbors. Some of them have finished their fields and some are still working hard to get their harvest in before it is destroyed by rainy weather.
Once the bundles are dry, they are put in the ‘kalub’- a temporary shelter that the family often lives in during the harvest. When a family is done with their own harvest they often go help others with their harvest.
The finishing up of harvest means that our language helpers are available again to help us check lessons and translation. I have a big stack of rough drafts for them to work on. Last week I finished the first draft of Ephesians and even got a few bonus portions done.
Heidi is wrapping up a comprehension check of the book of Romans this morning and preparing for this week’s Ladies Bible studies.
We have a few visitors coming in for a visit at the end of the week. I’ll introduce them in the next update.
Thank you for your continued prayers for us, our safety, the translation, and the spiritual growth of the people here.
God bless,
Jonathan & Heidi
