Dear Friends, Thank you for praying for us. Our kids are all safely back in the USA and Heidi and I are back in the village. We are glad to be here, even though we only have ten days here before we will be traveling to some meetings in Thailand.
One of the reasons we wanted to get back in was that some generous donors gave funds to help us purchase 45 more Bible players and Heidi wanted to get them programed and distributed as soon as possible.
I’m pleased to say that Heidi met her goal and has spent the last two days passing out the players. The recipients are excited to have them, and we are very happy to think about the many hours they will be able to spend enjoying listening to God’s word. In addition to programing the players, Heidi also accomplished a comprehension check for the book of Ephesians. I have been able to write several Bible lessons ahead of schedule because I won’t have time once the translation check starts in mid-February.
* Please pray that God will bless those who listen to the Bible and increase their knowledge and love of him. * Please pray for us as we wrap us this short time in the village and travel to meetings. * Please pray that we will have wisdom as work to wrap up the translation of the book of Ephesians. * We are starting to feel the crunch as our furlough in March gets closer and we still have a lot we want to accomplish before we leave. Please pray that we will use our time well.
