How did last week go? It went great! Thanks for asking. We started off the week with a visit from Evelin from Germany. Evelin is on a short-term mission trip to help our mission organize our various library resources. She decided to take a break from the books and come and add a bit of fun to our week.
Evelin is not the only one to add fun to our lives. Our partners have three boys and they rattle our cage from time to time. They tell us interesting things like, “I’m hoping I can have a pickle for dessert tonight.” So, Heidi sent him home with a jar of pickles. Sort of like Make a Wish foundation on a much lower scale.
Of course, we also enjoy the normal things about life here in the village; like visiting with people before the church service.
Prayer and Praise:
- We are thankful for the men who have been coming to a Bible study on Sunday nights.
- We are thankful that Romans is ready for the next round of comprehension checking and I expect that Ephesians will be ready in the next couple of days.
- Please pray that as we re-check Romans and Ephesians that we will find anything that doesn’t communicate well or accurately.
- We are thankful that the helicopter passed its 100-hour inspection and is ready for service again.
Thank you for your prayers!
Jonathan & Heidi
