After a whirlwind 8 days in Texas finding a car to drive and catching up with our family and home church, we headed to southern Arizona bright and early on Friday, May 15th. We quickly settled into our temporary housing at NTMA headquarters, and Josh jumped in with the helicopter overhaul team two days later on Monday, May 18th. We’ve condensed to three-day process of carefully disassembling and inspecting the helicopter into a 3 minute time-lapse video for you! The helicopter is now dis-assembled, sanded and stripped of paint, and is getting a new set of radios installed. When the radio installation is finished at the end of June, we will begin the meticulous process of painting and assembling all of the new parts in preparation for it’s service in the Philippines. Stay tuned for our next update when assembly is underway in July!
Please pray with us as we begin saving and preparing for our return to the Philippines in October. After the helicopter is on it’s way to the Philippines in a shipping container, we will return to the Philippines and move to Mindanao for at least four to six months to assemble the helicopter, build a hangar and helipad, and get the new flight program off the ground. Here are just a few of the extra expenses that we are praying for provision for through this transition process:
– Return airline tickets ($4,500)
– Philippine Visa Renewal ($2,000)
– Small box trailer (5×8) for moving and storing the few things that we need to keep in the US ($1,500)

Thank you for keeping me informed, I really appreciate it. I have a card you sent me with a picture of you and the kids. I say a prayer for you all every time I see it. I feel honored to be a part of what you are doing in the Philippines.
God bless you all,
