Hey everyone Josh here. Just thought I’d give a little re-cap of what the past few months have been like here in PNG. As many of you know we have been heavily involved in getting 3 houses built in the Kovol tribe for a new Church Planting team of three families. Currently 2 houses are finished, and the third is nearly under roof and should be finished with-in the month. Thanks for all who have been following our progress and adventures on Facebook, the comments are always an encouragement and give us something to look forward to after a hard day slogging it out in the jungle! Please pray for the wives and children of the men who have been gone for many weeks working hard to get these families in their new homes. It takes a toll on the entire team not just the ones in the candid snapshots like this one. Pray for Gods loving kindness on everyone involved and that they would feel his presence everyday and be encouraged that we have hope, unlike the Kovol folks you see in the background. But soon they too will have hope! Pray, pray, pray for these families moving into this tribe, that they would quickly learn the culture and language so they can begin teaching and translating the precious words “For God so loved the world…” It’s a privilege to serve folks like this who have answered the call of the great commission. Gods family will someday have Kovol believers because of God’s mercy and grace. Remember, PRAY for Kovol! Pray for the Stanley’s, Stous’s, and Hansen’s as they serve among these people.
