Thank you for praying for us as we settle into our new home and ministry here at the Missionary Training Center in Roach, Missouri. It’s been 3 months since we moved here!
Josh has been able to work on a number of projects already that include a big remodeling project in a staff apartment, finishing touches on the new gym and a few woodworking projects. The guys he has been working with are becoming good friends. Josh has been enjoying the work and his coworkers. Hunting season has started and Josh was able to join a hunting trip! He just harvested his first deer of the season and has been cooking up venison! yum!
I have been enjoying homeschooling and recently joined a local homeschool co-op group. I also (for the first time!) signed up our kids for the soccer season! The kids have LOVED it! In addition, I have been helping at the school’s Mission Barrel (similar to a thrift shop- but everything it free and donated) to help keep it clean and organized. This has been a job I really enjoy and time flies by when I’m working there. The kids have been helping me too!
The kids are doing so well and really enjoy living here. They have made some very good friends and are eager to finish their school as soon as they can every day so there is time to play! I’m liking that motivation!
