We are in Colorado

May 8, 2015 by Kevin and Wendy Case

Colorado has been much colder than we expected. Our view of Pike’s Peak is incredible on clear days. We are living on a working ranch out of town. This is a blessing God dropped in our laps as non-city people for this time frame. In June we will move into town, which will eliminate the long drive into the city the days we are involved at church.

May 15th we leave for two weeks in Mexico. Kevin will be working with Amelia and one of the Triqui ladies on Old Testament portions checking to see how they communicate. Pray for that time to be profitable as we have a very narrow window of time to accomplish this check. After that, we will be attending our field conference. We are look forward to touching base with our field of Mexico family.

Though not scheduled yet, we plan to make a quick trip over to Arizona at some point before November. We also have a loop through the south east to see family and supporters. Please pray for these plans and the timing of travel.

Translation Corner: Kevin is working through 2 Peter. There are some challenging concepts contained in that book. 2 Peter 1:19 states, “And so we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your heart”. Do we really understand it in English? How do we communicate this to people who take things very literally? We do appreciate your prayers for wisdom, clarity and direction as the project of translation moves forward.

In HIS Care,

Kevin and Wendy Case
