Now may the God of peace… equip you with every good thing to do His will… from Hebrews 13:20-21
Snowed in:
Greetings from Oklahoma, where we are finally warming up after a week of snow and ice. Oklahoma isn’t used to such weather, and snow removal is difficult. We were housebound for over a week!
Staying busy:

But that hasn’t kept us from our work. Lance has been working on translating several minor prophet books. He is ready to check Micah and Nahum and hopes to have Habakuk ready as well when we return to the village.
He has also been facilitating another online course, “Building Christian Community,” as part of the “Sharpening Your Interpersonal Skills” workshop. Click here to learn more.
After a long break from the middle of December to the beginning of February, we are both back with a new semester of online discipleship training for our students in the Philippines and one in Laos. Our first meeting was a blessing as we listened to each one share how God had been working during their break.
Then, in our staff meeting today, our hearts were blessed to hear about the face-to-face meetings different groups had recently in South Asia. God is using this program to train people to reach others with the gospel – many in creative access countries. We are blessed to be part of it.
Getting ready to go:
This month we’ll be taking a once-in-a-lifetime trip to London! Our granddaughter, Olivia, is spending her spring semester studying there. Our daughter and grandson are going, and they asked us to join them.
We prayed about it, talked to family and friends, and with encouragement like, “You’re not getting any younger…” “Go while you still can,” we decided to do it. It was a blessing to use miles to purchase the tickets. We’re calling it an early 50th anniversary celebration.
After we return from London on the 21st, we’ll be heading to the Philippines on the 26th. (Think jetlag!) When you think of us, please pray for good health, safety, and good conversations everywhere we go — on the plane, in the airports, and on the streets.
Thank you:
We praise the Lord that He has equipped us for doing His will (Hebrews 13:21).
Thanks to each of you for your prayers. And thanks to those who give towards this ministry. We cannot do what we do without you.
