Last month our two most recent literacy school graduates received their graduation certificate and a copy of the New Testament books we’ve gotten printed so far. After receiving their certificates, Siwi was asked to say something. He got up and held up his graduation certificate and asked, “Will this paper get me to heaven?” Then he continued on by saying that the certificate will not get him to heaven, but that reading God’s Word will.
Siwi is one of our Bible teachers in training and we have hopes that one day he could be one of the leaders of the North Wahgi church.
- Pray for Siwi and the other Bible teachers in training.
- Pray for the upcoming literacy school to today, October 24.
- Pray for the continuing translation work in the North Wahgi language so that they may have entire New Testament in their language.
