Unto Us This Day A Child Is Born

We have recently been team teaching another Phase 1 (Creation-Death, Burial, and Resurrection) course with a few men who are teachers-in-training. For the last 6 weeks we’ve been teaching some 7 lessons a week to about 13 people. After the last night’s lesson one of the teachers and I interviewed the 8 students who came and each one of them have given a clear profession of their trust in Christ alone for their salvation. New children have been born into the family of God.

One man stated that he has been a part of numerous religious groups and he thought that would win him merit with God. Recently, one of our teachers-in-training invited him to come and hear this teaching and he came. He knows now that this was God calling out to him. He said that he knows now that his wife or his children are not able to make him go to heaven and that his involvement in the other religious groups is not able to get him to heaven, but in that he is believing in Christ, His blood has paid for and washed away all his sin. The way that he used to be a rascal and do bad things, Jesus’ blood has paid for that and washed it away.

Pray for these infant believers that they will continue to grow in their walk with the Lord and will able to resist the opposition that they will undoubtedly face.
