We’re back in Missouri! We finished up our seven weeks in Oklahoma on Friday, then drove up five hours to the Training Center where we lived last semester. We’ve got three more weeks here to wrap up my write-up on Cherokee, then we’ll make our way home to Washington, with a stop in Texas to see family.
The seven weeks we just finished were for gathering Cherokee words, phrases and texts. Now I have to analyze and organize everything I found. It will be a lot of work for a short time.
We are glad to be back in Missouri to see friends and our old house. As soon as we got here, the kids ran to their old bedroom and got out all their toys, squealing with delight. Elroy was recently heard explaining to Scout that God is the one who makes it rain. I am surprised at how much he knows and understands about God. Every once in a while, he’ll say something he’s learned that surprises me. It really is exciting to watch them grow and learn.
Praise:
-We survived Oklahoma and even enjoyed it…
-We don’t always have much money to spare, but God always provides what we need in time.
Prayer:
-Our car needs new brakes and one or two other small things before we make the trip back home.
-That Elroy and Scout will both continue to learn and understand truth about God.
We always appreciate your prayers!
