Sometimes things happen slow over here, and sometimes they happen quick. It’s been both slow and quick at times this month. At the end of October, we packed up all our stuff- and threw away or sold much of it- and sent the rest on to the city to which we are moving.
Then on the first of November, we flew out of the country to get our new visas. We needed to go to two different cities to do everything that is required with our visas. We stayed ten days in the first, and at this point, we have been in the second city a week and expect to be here one more week (hopefully no more).
We’ve had a couple different medical situations that needed to be dealt with (which is not always fun), but otherwise, it’s been uneventful so far. There has been a fair amount of waiting involved, which, although it isn’t bad, can add some stress to the situation.
When we are done here, we will buy tickets and fly to our new home, which sounds better and better every day. All in all, it’s been a good trip, but we’re just ready for it to be over.
Praise:
-For the break from studying
-We got our visas and were able to take care of those medical situations
-We have gotten to eat plenty of western food and we even went snorkeling last week
Prayer:
-To be able to finish up here and quickly settle into our new home and routine (language learning/kid’s schooling)
-This trip has been quite expensive and our funds our rather depleted
-Alisha’s dad is still in bad health and goes to see the doctor at the end of the month
Thanks!
