A New Home

September 20, 2016 by Lincoln and Alisha McIlroy

We made it to our new city on Saturday. It was a relief to be done flying and waiting in airports. We are staying in a house rented by another missionary who is on furlough. The day we got here, the power was out all day, and it was pretty hot outside. It was also pretty hot inside. But we have survived the first few days.

The first thing we need to do is find a house to live in. We looked at one on Sunday and we may have one or two others to look at. It can be difficult staying in a house that is not your own, but we’re thankful that we are not in a hotel right now.

Alisha has started homeschooling the kids a bit. It’s good to have something of a routine. Thanks to everyone for your prayers and financial help getting over here! We look forward to what God has for us here in the next few years.

Praise:

-Safe and quiet (if long) trip over the ocean to our new home

Prayer:

-Finding a house and getting settled in

Thanks again!
