Around the World with Macon & Katy

September 11, 2008 by Macon and Katy Hare

English Student  While Katy was in Asia, Macon traveled to Colombia, SA. Katy visited a children’s home and English Center and made lasting friends with some incredible people.

Aly and her brother  Macon took our oldest, daughter, Aleyda back to her Colombian ‘root’s, to reunite with her 5 biological siblings and their families. Two emotional  journeys on two different continents.

Praise for God’s blessing on these two journeys. Thanks for your prayers along the way.

More to Come

Moi man and child  Macon will travel to a remote part of South Asia, to visit the Moi tribal people. There, he hopes to finalize the logistics of filming their unique story. Macon returns in November to do the filming.  Please pray for wisdom in the many decisions he will need to make and for a safe journey.

Macon will also be traveling to Spain to attend a European leaders conference in October. Pray for safe travel and that he will be an encouragement to the missionaries he visits.

Connie, age 3  Katy is back to babysitting for her grand-daughter, Connie, as Jessica returns to school at night to study massage therapy. Pray Jessica will be able to absorb all the new material she is learning, especially for the testing and passing the state boards at the end of the year long course.

Brazil 2009 – Katy will be leading another team to encourage missionary women and their families in January. Pray for wisdom for the logistics this trip entails, that God will put the team together, for finances, and especially for good health and safety for all.

Jeremy, Aleyda, Jessica and their families are all well and super busy keeping up with work and school.  Aleyda is back for her second challenging year teaching HS Spanish. Jeremy, inspite of all the changes in the airline industry, is gratefully still employed and flying worldwide. Jessica, who recently moved, began classes and working part time to support her family. Grand-daugher, Connie has recovered from a tonsilectomy which we hope will give her better health this flu season.
