One left, one month to go

April 3, 2015 by Mark and Joyce Cain

[cid:image002.jpg@01D06DF7.13F4BBA0][cid:image004.jpg@01D06DF7.13F4BBA0]Happy Easter to you! Arcesio, pictured in the middle, left this morning to go back to his people who we feel were putting pressure on him. He has had a few episodes that seems to be a result from poor circulation in his legs. We took him to the dr. and this next week were going to do tests. But in their culture where they don’t know about sickness’s well, there is a fear and they want to be with their loved ones. So pray for Arcesio to find out what is wrong and get help out there at a rural clinic. Pray as Luis and Mark keep trucking on the so far hard book of 1 Corintheans in their revision process. It’s going slow but coming out way better and the Indians are learning truths as they help translate. Pray for me (Joyce) as I will soon be starting a study on Women and the Church, zeroing in on the importance of strong women of faith to make up the Guahibo church and dealing with some of their taboos. It’s possible that later in the month Luis’s wife will come up from the tribe to help me with this material. She will be teaching it at our discipleship time in June and I will be helping her. Pray for God to provide the finances as transportation costs are not cheap. Selmira really wants to come and help me and also see our partner, Consuelo, who has progressive cancer. HE IS RISEN INDEED! Pressing on, Mark and Joyce Cain and the translation team
