| New potential opportunities on the horizon! Hi everyone, So, something exciting is happening. There are some new folks that we are going to start talking to about the potential of joining our team. Now, I say “start talking” and “potential” because it is all very preliminary. In order to decide whether we all would be a good fit, we need to spend some time living near each other and start having discussions about various things, including ministry philosophy, family dynamics, views on simplicity, personality compatibility, and church vision. See, here are the stages of forming a team, according to me 🙂 : 1- Thinking about talking about talking about forming a team 2- Talking about talking about forming a team 3- Talking about forming a team 4- Forming a team So, we are excited to move from stage 2 to stage 3. Please pray for us in these discussions, that the things that need to come up for us to talk about would, that we would be wise in our discussions and decisions, and that God would be leading us in unity. Other than that, things are going well. Matt continues to teach junior high Bible and work on construction/maintenance at the center nearby. Karissa continues to homeschool Ty. Ty and Wyck enjoy playing outside with their friends and playing board games. We are so thankful for you, and hope you had a wonderful Christmas celebrating our Savior.
