Member Care to the Next Generation

June 11, 2015 by Miles and Coleen Templeton

Recently we had the personal joy of hearing one of “our own” MK’s, now missionary, give a challenge from God’s Word to the national missionary candidates here and also relate the logistics and challenges of the tribal ministry in which he is now involved. Philip is a third generation missionary and serves in a tribal area of northern Brazil.

Later in the afternoon he and his dad spent time with us in our home. We waited out the rainstorm over coffee and chocolate cake and shared together the joys and sorrows as well as the perks and challenges of serving in God’s calling. We are blessed to have had a part in Philip’s life in the past and now to hold him up in prayer as he serves the Lord here in Brazil. He is also a fruit of your prayers for us through the years while we served in the school ministry. Thank you, and thank the Lord with us for Philip’s life and ministry.
