A NEW HOUSE!!!
Hello Everyone,
A lot has happened since my last update, but the biggest news is that we moved! I was just getting used to the idea that Davi and I would stay in our apartment for another year after our first year was up in April, when God blessed us with an incredible gift — a house!
We were able to purchase a home from a former missionary, and it is less than a block from the mission base. It only takes us four minutes to walk there, and that’s mostly because Davi doesn’t walk very fast… unless he’s trying to escape. 🙂 The house also has a lovely yard, a large covered porch, and a small apartment. I’m planning to set up the apartment to host missionaries who need a bit more space than the mission guest house, as well as visiting parents of former PQQ students who are now studying at the nearby college. Please pray that I can share this blessing from God with others.
Adjusting to the New Year
November was busy as I learned my new responsibilities and adjusted to working with new accounts. Just as I started to feel like I was getting the hang of things, Christmas break arrived. We had two weeks off, which was really nice. Davi and I were able to relax and work on some fun projects. Of course, bills don’t take a break, so returning to work was a big task.
I had just one week to get everything in order before our week-long annual conference. During that time, my parents came to visit, which was wonderful. They spent time playing with Davi while I worked. The conference itself went really well, and afterward it was back to the daily routine — along with preparing to move into our new house.
My parents helped us get things ready for the move but had to return to the States before we officially moved. On top of that, we are supposed to change accounting systems for 2026, but the new program is not yet finished. After closing out 2025, I’ve been working on other accounting projects in the meantime. I’m praying for energy and endurance when the new system is finally ready, as we are already about a month behind.

DAVI`S CORNER!!!
Davi has started music therapy to help with his sensitivity to loud noises, and we are also beginning pre-preschool at home. He already knows eight shapes, twelve colors, how to count to five, and the letter D! We are working on his hand coordination through different activities that will help prepare him for learning to write and use scissors, and we are also doing Puggles. We are focusing on increasing his Portuguese vocabulary as well He is growing like a weed! He absolutely loves our new house, especially the yard and the lemon tree.
