New Adjustments

January 18, 2013 by Ned and Linn Beall

We arrived back in Papua New Guinea. It is great to be back but the good-byes were harder than ever. We now have three children in the USA. Our family is shrinking way too fast. The kids are doing well. Bethany and Kara Linn are enjoying Bible school. Josiah is living with my parents and working two part time jobs and working towards a computer networking certificate. He is planning to come visit us in August! Please keep our kids in your prayers as they are on the other side of the world from their mom and dad.

Ned has been working hard trying to get our solar system up and running again. Our batteries totally died while we were gone and he is trying to get our new batteries running along with some improved solar equipment. As usual there have been snags that have caused this to take much longer than expected. Also, day and night rain doesn’t help when you are trying to run a house on the sun!

Ned will be doing a huge translation check for the Bises tribe the end of February. To prepare for the check requires many days of preparation. He will be checking Matthew, Luke and John for them. Before that happens he looks at their translation that has been back translated to English. He is going through each verse and checking each one to make sure it is completely accurate with nothing added and nothing left out. It is very time consuming but so necessary to “rightly handle the Word of God”.
