One of the perks to living on an island is having access to a water playground. Unfortunately we don’t take the time to enjoy it as much as we should. It basically is only enjoyed on school holidays. We did our best to get out over the summer break. But now our boat is not working again. We would appreciate your prayers that a new boat part would arrive ASAP and that it would fix the problem we are having. We ended up having to have the boat towed home from town the last trip that was made in it. We are super excited for Josiah’s arrival on Sunday. He has worked really hard to save up money to make the trip. It will be his first time back in Papua New Guinea since he graduated from high school in 2010. The Tigak people also can’t wait to see Josiah and hang out with him!! It will be a special time. Unfortunately he only has two weeks off work so the trip won’t be as long as we would have liked it to be! We will treasure every minute of it. We are praying that the boat will be working so he can enjoy the water while he is visiting too. Ned is making good progress on the book of John. We would appreciate your prayers that he would be able to finish the book and have it consultant checked before Savannah graduates in May. In a country with basically no roads and being dependent on very expensive airline flights to get anywhere – working out the logistics for consultant checks can be a logistical nightmare. We are about as far away from the mainland of Papua New Guinea as you can be and still be in PNG. We are looking at all the flights that we need to make over the next year and realizing that only a God of miracles can make it all happen!!
