Thank you for praying for the presentation of the Gospel message to the Tigak. It is a thrill to have new baby Tigak believers. Their excitement and desire to learn is contagious. Please continue to pray for these new believers as we are very aware that Satan wants nothing better than to squash their zeal and steal the Word away so that they don’t continue to grow in the Lord. Most of the new believers are women. Pray with us for their spouses and children that they would also desire to hear God’s Word taught clearly.
Pray for Ned as he is currently checking the books of Luke and part of Acts for the Maleu tribe. They have to finish 300 verses each day in order to finish in the time available.
My (Linn’s) dad has been very sick and in the hospital for a couple of weeks. We are hoping he will be able to come home this Friday. Pray that the doctors would have wisdom in how to treat my dad and that he would continue to gain strength. All three of our kids in the USA along with my nephew are going to be living with my parents for the summer. Hopefully they will all be a help and encouragement to my parents and not extra work. 🙂 I am thinking the girls can do the cooking and cleaning and the boys can do the maintenance and yard work – so my parents can recover from a tiring time in the hospital!! It is hard to be away from home when my dad is struggling.
