I have been slow in getting an update out. It has been wonderful to be back with family in the USA this past week! We are almost adjusted to the time change. We look forward to catching up with those of you in the area or nearby. Our first week back has been filled with volleyball camp for Christina and trying to get her registered for dual credit classes at the local community college. Linn was also able to get an appointment with a retinal specialist. He says the eye is healing fine. She is anxious to have her next surgery so her eyesight can begin to come back in the left eye. In a few weeks she goes back and will hopefully be able to schedule the removal of the oil that was put in her eye. It needs to stay in about 2 months and it is one month today since the retinal detachment happened.
We are all thankful that Linn was able to travel home with the whole family including Josiah and Mia. We weren’t sure what was going to happen. She actually had to fly back to the capital city of Papua New Guinea to start the flights with the family or rebuy her tickets from Brisbane. It was much cheaper to fly back one day and leave with everyone the next day. We always try to see something different on the way home if we can and this year tickets home through Europe were close to the same price as going to the USA any other way.
Continue to pray for the Tigak church as they are on their own. We don’t have a way to get updates from them. We are trusting the Lord that the teaching is continuing on consistently.
