The Next Surgery…

It has been wonderful spending time with our family since being back in the
USA! It is a blessing to have time with our parents, children and
granddaughter. There were only a few days all summer when all 13 of us
would be in one place so we took advantage of the time to get a new family
picture. It is always a challenge to get that many people in one place and
mostly smiling. J

We do not have news on the Tigak outreach since all of our co-workers are
currently in the USA also. Please continue to pray for Paska and the other
young men who are continuing to teach the families on a nearby island. Pray
for the Tigak church to maintain good testimonies among the community and to
faithfully share God’s Word with those around them. We know this year will
be good for them in growing them in their walk with the Lord and not being
dependent on us as missionaries.

Linn found out today that her next surgery will be on July 31st. Please be
praying for the doctor as he removes the oil in her eye and fills it with an
air bubble. Pray that all would go well and no further damage would happen
to her eye. Pray that she would be able to have full (or close to full)
recovery of sight in the months following the 2nd surgery. Some comments
the doctor made have made her more nervous going into the surgery.

Thank you for faithfully praying and being an encouragement to us. The Lord
is able to meet each need we have as it arises and we rest in that! We do
serve an awesome and loving God who always gives the best.
