Thank you for praying. We were finally able to purchase all of Ned’s tickets to get to and around Papua New Guinea. It was quite tricky since they would not accept any of our credit cards for flights in PNG. We are thankful for support personnel in PNG that were able to keep going in to the local airline office until their system was working. Now we have been notified of flight times being changed and need to find a way to change one of the flights! Traveling in third world countries is always an adventure! Ned will have 12 flights all together.
We would appreciate your prayers for Ned’s health. He has had a cold and cough for several weeks and is continuing to put in long hours preparing for translation checking for five different translators. He really needs to be in full health for all his travels in March and April. He will also have the opportunity to receive more training on checking Epistles during his travels. It has been quite a few years since there has been anyone in PNG qualified to do translation consultant training on Epistles. Please pray for this time to go well and that he will be able to grow in his ability to check Epistles for other translators.
Our daughter and son-in-law, Kara Linn and Anthony Haskins, are getting closer to leaving for PNG to begin their ministry. They are currently at 60% of their recommended support level and hope to reach the required 75% by May 1st so they can buy their tickets for PNG and arrive in June to begin orientation and learning the national language. We would appreciate your prayers for them! If you or someone you know or your church is looking for a new missionary to support please pass on their information. Their blog is at blogs.ethnos360.org/anthony-haskins/ Or you can contact them directly at Anthony_haskins@ntm.org (214) 732-7359 They would be happy to add you to their email updates so you can pray for them too!
