Ned left for Papua New Guinea on Sunday! It has been ALL God orchestrating every detail of this trip and allowing it to come together. Traveling internationally during Covid is very challenging. It has been stressful making sure all the paperwork and Covid testing came together at the right time. Ned has two flights down and two more to go. He will have 2 weeks of quarantine on arrival in PNG.
We are very excited that the dates of the flight and the end of quarantine will happen at the exact right time for Ned to get some training on checking Epistles. It has been many years since any training was available to Ned. Ned will be able to be part of translation checking for two other languages along with working on more of the Tigak Old Testament during his time in PNG.
I, Linn, was very glad Ned was still here last week when we lived through the Texas “snowmageddon” . Thankfully we did not lose power and were able to have my parents along with Christina and Savannah at our house while they were without power. We were without water for 3 days while getting a plumber to fix some problems. So many people here in Texas went through so much more than we did! We feel very blessed. There is a huge need for plumbers and many people are still waiting for all kinds of repairs. Lots to pray for!
