Many of you have wanted to know how things are going. They are going as expected. Our daughter is in Africa, we are in the U.S. and we are all waiting for the immigration process to be finished so we can go bring her home. It could take 3 more weeks, or many months if we hit a snag. So far, everything is smooth though and we would appreciate your prayers. While we wait… we have decorated her room, have been looking into medical insurance, talked to her doctor and of course prayed for her. Many of you know also that Paul and I are praying about going to linguistics school next year in the fall. More on that later, but the things we are praying about in regard to that really revolve around how our daughter adjusts to life with us this fall and what info we find out about her care from her specialist. Since she has hepatitis B, we would like to hear from her specialist before any decisions are made. However, everything we have heard about possibly moving her out of the U.S. in 2-4 years has been positive. I will let Paul explain more on that later, but please be in prayer about her health and adjustment. Of course I would be totally okay with God healing her!!!

We are hoping your wait is short, what a lucky little girl, she’ll have 3 brothers to teach her all about bugs & climbing trees & all that good stuff & 2 great parents to love her.
