I just took a quick journey back through the month of November looking at the various communiqués that we’ve received from around the world. Among the messages I found the news from a people group who heard the gospel for the first time and now the church has been born in one more jungle village. I found another where the church was born in 2011 and in November they held their very first believers baptism. In another the translation of the New Testament was recently dedicated and distributed after years of faithful, diligent work. In still another, the missionaries, after years of culture and language study found the people group they live among eager to hear God’s word in their own language. Several others shared of the progress and growth of the church as believers grow in their faith and knowledge of the Lord Jesus. The amazing thing about this is that many of these missionaries were students that we had the privilege of introducing to tribal church planting while they were students on Interface in Papua New Guinea. This is, in part, your legacy. None of us would take credit for any of this because we all know that apart from the Lord Jesus and the ministry of the Holy Spirit none of it would have happened, but we, together, have been blessed to share in it.
