Finally, an Adventure!

November 11, 2010 by Payton and Grace Downing

Look, a real adventure! Complete with bones, feathers and pickery weeds clinging to our sleeves. Sadly, we didn’t escape too far into the deep wilderness, but it was the first time we’d played in a meadow in a while. Fall had made everything crispy, only a few little slender shoots of green hiding beneath. I’m betting that there won’t be very many more fair autumn afternoons left like that one. And, Payton was convinced we got poison ivy, but I guess we were spared. Here are a few shots of our expedition.
