TRANSLATION PROGRESS

January 15, 2011 by Phil and Elin Henderson

We have recently completed work on the Old Testament portions needed for our initial teaching program. In all, there were about 1300+ verses translated from the Old Testament, including the complete book of Jonah. We are still working on these portions getting them ready to be checked by a translation consultant who is scheduled to come in February. Along with that, several hundred verses of the New Testament that are needed for the initial teaching program have been completed. Please continue to pray for progress in translation and that we will be able to prepare accurate and meaningful Scripture that the Holy Spirit can use to impact the lives of the Mwinika people.
