WEEK ONE – COMPLETE

February 26, 2011 by Phil and Elin Henderson

So far things seem to be going well. There is a lot to be thankful for. We have seen a wide variety of people from various religious backgrounds. Many come from different parts of the village. Quite a few of those attending are village leaders of one kind or another. We have a variety of ages from the one of the oldest in the village to the youngest in the village (one of our neighbors with her baby who is only about a week old). We have a good ratio of men and women. There were even a few more people attending the lessons towards the end of the week than at the beginning.

We have been circulating small mp3 players that have the audio of the first four lessons on them in the community. Pray that these players will help the people review what they have heard and cause more people to have interest in attending the lessons. We also have an idea to post a picture each day from that day’s upcoming lesson at the central market. We hope that this will cause people to have an interest in coming to hear the teaching. Pray that it will work.

Praise the Lord with us for these encouraging signs. Please continue to pray that more people will begin attending.
