HOME AGAIN

May 8, 2011 by Phil and Elin Henderson

We arrived home safely after a little more than a week of break. Praise the Lord we had a good relaxing week and we are ready to get back into the routine of teaching lessons again. There is a lot of hard work in front of us as we start into the second half of our teaching program. We expect to finish around the first week of July. It will be an intense time but God delights in just those sorts of challenges. He sees them as opportunities to prove His faithfulness and sufficiency if we will only trust Him. This whole week I couldn’t help pondering the fact that God took approximately 2,000,000 people and their flocks into the wilderness where there was no food or water to sustain them. From a human perspective it was pure folly but God doesn’t put much stock in the human perspective. As we look ahead to the weeks of teaching it looks impossible to us in our human perspective. We need to have His perspective or we will never make it.

Pray that we will trust in His sufficiency moment by moment.
