In this case the chef (Callie) was demonstrating to her audience (Elias) how to make Pear Pie. The show didn’t last long because the audience lost interest. Earlier they were running a restaurant serving food. They were using something that a friend of theirs had written out on the blackboard a few months ago. It was a list of specials. The specials consisted of “Black bery pie, Lemonade, Pizza, French Frise, Chees Kacke, Hamberger, Sodapop, Shrimp, Bannana Split, and Hot Dog.”
